Scott Voorhies The second semester of Botany will focus on plant families, fungus, plant diseases, and uses of plants. Every Thursday we will do project work on a variety of projects. Each student will select a project to write a Research Paper on. The Research Paper will be due at the end of the semester with graduated due dates along the way. Assignments and due dates will be posted on the course website. Readings will be from “Botany for Gardeners”, “Botany in a Day”, and online articles. Expect to have one quiz a week and two tests, a midterm and a final. Classes meet Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 11:00 in room 318, and Friday at 12:00 in room 317. Please call, text, email, or see me in person if you ever fall behind or have any questions. |
